IRVING, TX, March 25, 2026 – The Church of Scientology Dallas and Dialog Institute Dallas recently co-hosted an interfaith Ramadan dinner on February 19. Held at the Church’s facility at 451 Decker Drive in Irving, the event brought together Scientologists and Muslims for an evening dedicated to shared meals, cultural exchange, and vital community building, fostering connections between both communities.
Guests engaged in open dialogue at mixed tables, learning about Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard and the Church’s outreach. A Dialog Institute leader provided an insightful introduction to Ramadan, including personal stories from Turkey. Gladys Sandouk, a Scientology lay leader, noted, "It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about another culture and make new friends. The opportunity to share a meal and good conversation just shows what community is all about."
The evening culminated with the Dialog Institute presenting a commemorative plaque to the Church of Scientology Dallas, acknowledging its hospitality and the growing friendship. This dinner exemplifies both groups' commitment to building bridges across religious and cultural lines through direct personal connection, promoting harmony in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
