London Forum Explores Xuemo's Eastern Philosophy, Bridging Cultures for Global Insight

The International Forum on Xuemo's Works, alongside the launch of his new English volume Reclaim the Throne of Your Heart, convened at SOAS University of London on March 21, 2026. This significant academic event united scholars from leading UK institutions, including Oxford, Bath, and Westminster, for an in-depth dialogue. The forum explored contemporary Chinese author Xuemo's literary contributions, emphasizing cross-cultural communication and the profound global resonance of Eastern philosophy.

Xuemo, a prominent voice in western Chinese narrative literature with over 80 works translated into 28 languages, delivered a keynote address. He highlighted Chinese civilization's philosophy of mind—rooted in Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism—as a vital resource for addressing global imbalances. Dr. Yukteshwar Kumar, translator, noted how Xuemo’s narratives tackle universal human struggles by advocating traditional Eastern values like benevolence and harmony, offering pathways to individual and societal healing.

Under the theme "Literature and Civilization: A Cross-Continental Dialogue," discussions, including Professor Hugo de Burgh on value reconstruction, affirmed Xuemo's broader significance.
